Free EU-funded training opportunity for Irish residents

We are looking for Ireland-based participants under the age of 30 for an EU-funded project about entrepreneurship and creativity.

This opportunity is part of the Interreg Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs (AYCH) project, which runs until July 2023.

As a participant, you will become an “AYCH Ambassador” and take part in project activities, which include training in entrepreneurship and skills to develop and validate your creative or innovative ideas. By participating in this programme, you will gain experience in a series of online hands-on activities to practice creative, enterprise and digital technology skills. The programme of online activities that form this ‘incubator programme’ will be centred around the following topics:

Introduction to Entrepreneurship & Creativity

Develop & Validate Innovative Ideas

Sales & Exchange

Products & Services Marketing

Competition & Cooperation

Think Like Investors

Dragons' Den Project Brief

Five ‘Ambassadors’ will be able to participate in-person in the International Creative Jam, a three-day event that brings together young adults from five European countries. The dates for the in-person International Creative Jam hosted by L’Ecole de Design in Nantes, France, are 10 to 12 May 2023. Travel to this exciting event will be funded by the project. An essential activity in this event is the final challenge where participants bring their ideas to life through quick and dirty prototyping and pitching in front of their peers and panel of judges.

We welcome you to take part in this project by filling in the application form here or sending us an e-mail to express your interest: aych-participate@methodsinnovation.org. For full consideration, submit your application by 12 noon, 3 May 2023.
